Look Of The Day


I have noticed in the last few months that I am not as excited as I once was about my clothes in SL. I am sure this has NOTHING to do with the fact that I shop too much and have too many of them. I think it’s because I have gotten too far away from the core fashion sense of Dizzy. I used to put outfits together and love them so much I wouldn’t taken them off for weeks and weeks! Now I find it hard to put something together that I don’t take off an hour later.
So I am going to try and get back to my own Dizzy sense of fashion… back to Dizzy basics, which if you have ever known me in my 4 and a half years on the grid you will know that basics for me often involve tutus and pink hair.
I still like my more normal clothes and will still wear those and blog about those outfits, but I am going to make a conscious effort to find my own look again.

When i think of sepia it brings me back to high school and most of college spent in the photography lab printing my pictures and then toning a good number of them in different saturation levels of sepia. So when I put the outfit together I also had to bring in different levels and tones of sepia.

Goldenrod

52 Weeks Of Color, Look Of The Day

Week 3 of 52 Weeks Of Color Challenge is goldenrod.

BOOM to the rescue on this weeks color. I really don’t have much in the tone of goldenrod, and not a huge fan of yellows and oranges, but along came BOOM and their new thermal tees. BOOM usually puts out their items in a wide variety of colors, but now that are also adding in colors to cater to the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.
So for this week i actually now have something in the goldenrod color, but I also look cute and warm while wearing it.
Also new is my hair from [elikatira]. I will never be able to put into words exactly how pleased I am that Elikapeka Tiramisu has opened another shop again. ETD used to be my favorite hair shop everything was from there. Not to mention some cute clothes and shoes too, and being able to go to her new shop and shop for hairs is just awesome! So many of my staple stores when I was a young avatar are gone now it’s nice to see one make a come back.

Sweaters, Skirts and Scarves… Oh My!

Look Of The Day


I love the new plaid skirts out from Artilleri, so much so i got the fat-pack. Today I am wearing the plum one, but it also comes in three other colors. As always I am a sucker for sweaters so I have paired the skirt with a beautifully hand drawn cardi from Pig, which also happens to come in a bunch of colors. My scarf is from M+M’s gatcha machine in their store so there are lots of different ones you can get and the nice thing is they are transferable so you can swap with friends. Speaking of which if anyone would like the red checked scarf I got three of them and would happily make a swap for some other color. For a bit of edge I wearing my GoS black Docs with knee high purple knit socks from Shiny Things.

I Have a Fuzzy Hat… RAWR!

Look Of The Day


I love the new group gift from *Coco* it’s this great fuzzy animal hat. I also have a new skin! Did a little therapeutic shopping and got Tess 2 from Laqroki… love the pouty mouth, prefect for my mood these days. Also wearing some new eyes from Tres Blah.
